A Memoir in Progress · 2026
"The curse ends here.
Love begins now."
— Daemon Hillin
This isn't a memoir written for an audience. It began as a letter — to River, to Skye, to the versions of himself he's still becoming. After trauma, addiction, and a career that broke and rebuilt itself in equal measure, Daemon sat down to write the most honest story of his life.
Not the career story. Not the producer story. The real one. The one about what it costs to break a cycle. What it takes to become the man your children actually deserve — not just the man you told yourself you were.
I. Radical Truth-Telling. Honesty that costs something. Not the performed version.
II. Healing the Body. Reclaiming it. Sobriety. Movement. Coming home to yourself.
III. Discipline as Love. Showing up for River and Skye — not as punishment, as devotion.
IV. Breaking the Chain. Interrupting inherited patterns. Conscious fatherhood as daily practice.
V. Building for Soul. Building from truth — not from fear, not for audience approval.
The Rebuild
A journal about what it takes to become who your children need you to be.
